Job description

NOTE: THIS POSITION IS AVAILABLE FOR REMOTE WORK WITHIN THE CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES WITH TRAVEL AS REQUIRED FOR BUSINESS NEEDS.
POSITION SUMMARY: This position reports to the Enterprise Software Supervisor within the Information Technology Department. The successful candidate will become a member of the NuScale Enterprise Software Group working with the PLM support team.
The position will provide support for the interface between the Engineering CAD team and the NuScale Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) system. This position will also provide support to the Aras PLM platform.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Supports interface between Siemens NX CAD program and Aras Innovator PLM
  2. Assist in the development of software documentation and procedures
  3. Assist PLM support engineers in daily performance of their activities
  4. Resolves CAD user issues
  5. May provide user training in areas of expertise
  6. May serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to other departments, including offsite audits as required to support PLM activities.
  7. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES:
  • Education/Certification: A minimum of a B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or engineering from a four-year accredited college or university is required. Alternatively, 8 years of directly relevant full-time working experience with Siemens NX CAD or Aras PLM may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in complex IT environments supporting Siemens NX CAD is required. Must be able to clearly elaborate on experience working in collaborative teams. Must have strong technical writing skills and excellent communication, computer, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Must also be able to demonstrate strong organization skills and ability to work on complex projects with multiple work phases. Additional required and preferred experience includes:
    • Must have experience with either Aras Innovator PLM and xPLM connector software or Aras Innovator PLM and Essig connector software (Required)
    • Experience in nuclear power or other highly regulated industry (Preferred)
    • Understanding of engineering concepts and terminology (Preferred)
    • Understanding of quality assurance regulations for nuclear power (Preferred)
  • Industrial Requirements: Must be eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.

Pay and Benefits:
The target pay range for this position is $124,400 - $150,138 annually. The full pay range is $111,531 - $174,446 annually.
