Physical Requirements
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
Shift
Days: Monday - Friday and occasional evening hours. All onsite. No virtual or hybrid work options. 40 Hours per Week.
Job Summary
The College of Nursing is seeking a Simulation Lab Assistant to join the team! This position plays an essential role in ensuring the effective preparation, delivery, and operation of simulation-based learning experiences for students.
Responsibilities include supporting the technical preparation, setup, execution, and maintenance of clinical simulation activities, including task trainers, high-fidelity patient simulators, and virtual reality scenarios.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
• Assists with equipment maintenance, cleaning, supplies inventory, and learning resources.
• Collaborates with clinical partners to program and troubleshoot simulated clinical scenarios.
• Supports clinical training and education event content to advance learning goals and learner skills through simulation.
• Fluency in use of MS Word and Outlook is favorable. Preferred technical experience with computer hardware or software.
• Ability to work well with others, multi task and great written and oral communication skills.
