Long Term Care (100 Wing)
Location: Guardian Angels Care Center – Elk River, MN
Salary Range: $22.72 - 27.34 /Hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule:
  • 2:30pm - 11pm Schedule.
  • Part time, working 56 hours per pay period (2 Weeks).
  • Must be available to work every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) and holiday.
Position Summary:
The Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) is responsible for providing respectful, resident-centered care and assistance to the resident under the supervision of a licensed nurse. They assist the resident to achieve their highest level of physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual function.
Job Duties:
  • To provide direct personal cares for residents at their assessed level of function under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • To provide Restorative/Maintenance nursing programs as developed by Nursing Rehabilitation
  • To accurately document cares provided, resident observations.
  • To assist the resident to achieve their highest level of physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual function.
  • To assist in providing a dignified, respectful, resident-centered environment for residents.
  • Follows universal precautions, facility infection control guidelines, sanitation and safety standards of practice in all work and activities.
  • All duties will be performed in accordance with current standards, guidelines, state and federal regulations.
  • Uphold confidential information as required by Guardian Angels Care Center policy and procedure and as related to HIPPA.
  • Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Guardian Angels.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Currently registered as a Nursing Assistant with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant registry.
  • Prior nursing experience preferred.
  • Must be 16 years of age, or older.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Self-motivated, ability to prioritize.
