ICU RN | Guam Regional Medical City – Dededo, GU

Location: 133 Route 3, Dededo, GU 96929
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift:

  • Night Shift: 3x12-Hour

  • Day Shift: 3x12-Hour

  • Travelers are scheduled for one shift (day or night) but must comply if asked to switch.
    Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
    Block Schedule: TBD by unit needs

Job Overview

Guam Regional Medical City is seeking experienced ICU RNs to join its critical care team. This position requires nurses with strong skills in neurological, respiratory/thoracic care, IV therapy, and dysrhythmia management.

Responsibilities
  • Provide intensive care for critically ill patients (1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio)

  • Monitor and manage dysrhythmias and perform IV therapy

  • Care for patients with neurological and respiratory/thoracic conditions

  • Administer medications and conscious sedation per physician orders

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans

  • Document patient information accurately using Allscripts/Sunrise

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
Certifications Required:

  • Compact or Guam RN License (must be in hand at the time of submission)

  • ACLS

  • BLS

  • NIH Stroke Certification

  • Conscious Sedation Certification

  • TCRN (preferred)

First-time Travelers: Accepted with 2+ years of ICU experience
Floating: Required within scope based on facility needs
On-Call Requirement: Not required

Compensation & Benefits

Base Bill Rate: $55.00$59.00/hour
Overtime: 1.5x after 40 hours/week
Charge Nurse Pay: Additional $5.00/hour
On-Call Pay: $10.00/hour
Call Back Pay: 1.5x
Holiday Pay: 1.5x (Observed holidays include Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, and Labor Day)

Additional Details

Local Candidates: Not accepted
RTO Policy:

  • Maximum of 3 consecutive days off

  • Maximum of 7 total days off per contract

  • All RTO must be pre-approved and included at the time of submission

Vaccination Requirements:

  • COVID-19 Vaccine: Required (Medical Exemptions Only)

  • Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical Exemptions Only)

Additional Requirements:

  • PASSPORT IN HAND REQUIRED

  • Flights are not reimbursed (Recruiters should include round-trip airfare in the pay package)

  • Travelers must complete their full contract before booking return flights
