Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Travel Med Surg RN โ€“ Key Requirements
  • ๐Ÿ“ Local travelers accepted (within 50 miles) with a 12% rate reduction
  • ๐Ÿฅ Minimum 1.5 years of Level I, Level II, or tertiary hospital experience
  • ๐Ÿฅ At least 1 year of Med Surg experience in a 450+ bed hospital
  • ๐Ÿ“‹ IN RN License or Compact RN License required
  • โค๏ธ AHA BLS certification required
  • ๐Ÿ’ป EPIC charting experience required
  • ๐Ÿ‘ฅ Patient Ratio: 1:5โ€“6
  • ๐Ÿ”„ Must be willing to float to other medical units as needed
  • ๐Ÿ•’ 12-hour shifts with 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
  • ๐Ÿ‘• Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue
  • ๐Ÿ“… Orientation includes 1 day hospital orientation + ~5 days nursing orientation (Epic included)
  • ๐Ÿ“Œ RTO must be disclosed at submission
  • ๐Ÿ“ž Facility may call off up to 24 hours during a 13-week contract
  • โณ 8 hours of non-billable orientation
Patient Population
  • General Med Surg patients with:
    • COPD, CHF, Diabetes, ESRD
    • GI disorders (pancreatitis, GI bleed, IBD)
    • Infections (sepsis, pneumonia, cellulitis, UTI, C. diff)
    • Neurological conditions (stroke, dementia, TBI)
    • Mental health conditions (depression, anxiety, substance abuse)
