Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing

  • Serve meals, assist with feeding, and provide water and nourishment between meals

  • Support residents with mobility, including ambulating, turning, and positioning

  • Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake, and output

  • Ensure resident comfort and respond promptly to call lights and requests

  • Report changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor

  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations

  • Uphold resident privacy and dignity in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards

  • Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines

  • Stay current through educational opportunities and maintaining CNA certification

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in accordance with state law

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Long-term care experience preferred

  • Current CPR certification required

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and assist residents with physical mobility needs
