The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides each assigned resident with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by supervisors.

Job Requirements - Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

  • Must possess, as a minimum, a GED and Certified Nursing Assistant Course

  • Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of this state

  • Must be able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions

Required education: High school or equivalent

Required experience: long term care or skilled nursing: 1 year

Required license or certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
