Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
  • Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
  • Coordinate patient care with other disciplines across the care team
  • Utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in clinical decision-making
  • Support an EPIC conversion project, including documentation and charting within EPIC and Cerner systems
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • EPIC experience within the last 12 months
  • Recent Cerner experience required; each work history entry must reflect the charting system used
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Acute care facility experience
