Job description

CMT (Certified Medication Technician)

Thrive USA Home Care is seeking qualified Certified Medication Technicians to provide clinical support and in-home care across Maryland, DC, and Florida. CMTs will assist clients with medical procedures and daily living activities while maintaining professional standards and person-centered care practices.

Position Responsibilities:
 Provide clinical and personal care as outlined in individual service plans
 Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration)
 Perform EKGs and basic phlebotomy as needed
 Assist with catheter care, wound care, and other medical procedures under clinical supervision
 Support clients with mobility, transfers, bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
 Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all medical care in the patient care portal
 Communicate client status and care updates to nursing staff and care coordinators
 Work independently in clients' homes following established care protocols and medical procedures
 Maintain reliable weekly availability and willingness to travel throughout service areas
 Adhere to HIPAA and infection control standards

Required Qualifications:
 Current CMT (Certified Medical Technician) certification
 Current CPR and First Aid certification
 Passing background check
 TB/PPD test required prior to employment
 Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current vehicle insurance
 High school diploma or GED
 Legal authorization to work in the United States
 Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting, assisting with mobility, and walking for extended periods
 Ability to document care accurately and communicate via phone and electronic systems
 Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
 Attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocols precisely




Every other Saturday, starting Aug. 15th, 8am-8:15pm.
Will need to be available for a training shift on Wednesday, Aug. 12th from 8am-8:15pm with the Nurse.
