RN Unit ManagerJoin Our Leadership Team at Resorts at Chester River Manor!

Are you a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse looking to take the next step in your leadership career? Resorts at Chester River Manor is seeking a dedicated RN Unit Manager to oversee resident care, support nursing staff, and help drive clinical excellence throughout our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse leader who is passionate about resident-centered care, team development, and maintaining high clinical standards.

What You'll Do
  • Manage the day-to-day clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit.

  • Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and GNAs.

  • Ensure residents receive exceptional care in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans.

  • Monitor documentation, assessments, treatments, and medication administration for accuracy and compliance.

  • Conduct clinical rounds and proactively address resident and family concerns.

  • Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions.

  • Assist with quality assurance, infection prevention, risk management, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

  • Investigate incidents, complete follow-up documentation, and implement corrective actions when necessary.

  • Collaborate with physicians, therapy, pharmacy, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal resident outcomes.

  • Assist with staff education, coaching, and performance improvement.

Qualifications
  • Current Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience.

  • Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred.

  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of CMS regulations, Maryland nursing regulations, and standards of nursing practice.

  • CPR Certification required.
