Travel RN Risk & Compliance Manager | Peridot, AZ (Long-Term Contract)

Position Details
  • Location: Peridot, AZ

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Assignment Length: Minimum 6 months preferred; 52-week contract ideal

  • Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift (hours may vary by facility)

  • Setting: Acute Care / Critical Access

Requirements
  • Active RN License

  • BLS certification (required)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field

  • 5 years of clinical practice experience with at least 3 years of progressive performance improvement

  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) or Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) (or willingness to obtain within 1 year of hire)

  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills

We’re seeking an experienced RN Risk & Compliance Manager to lead and oversee risk management and compliance initiatives in Peridot, Arizona. This role is critical in ensuring patient safety, reducing liability, and fostering a culture of quality improvement within a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, experience in clinical practice, and a background in compliance and performance improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate the Risk Management and Compliance Program to reduce risk exposure and improve patient safety

  • Monitor compliance issues, conduct in-depth analysis, and assist departments in developing corrective/preventive action plans

  • Develop and maintain the organization’s written compliance plan and complete annual evaluations of its effectiveness

  • Coordinate clinical and administrative activities to identify, evaluate, and reduce risks of injury or loss

  • Establish and apply standards for evaluating hospital performance in risk management activities

  • Investigate compliance and risk management issues, participating in Root Cause Analysis of error reports

  • Provide staff education and ongoing training in Risk Management and Compliance processes

  • Use risk factor data to create evidence-based patient safety interventions and process improvement strategies

  • Support and coordinate risk assessments, FMEA, RCA, and other investigations

  • Participate in Performance Improvement teams as a leader and facilitator

  • Ensure confidentiality throughout all compliance and risk management activities

  • Develop policies and procedures that provide clear organizational guidelines

  • Promote a culture of safety through nonpunitive error reporting systems
