Job description

Rural hospital located several hundred miles northwest of Anchorage, AK seeking a full-time, Nurse Practitioner Director to join their team.

Salary: $165,318 - $211,126/annually

  • Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance offered!

Nurse Practitioner Opportunity:

  • Establish a sound management structure for clinic activities and ensure that all clinics are staffed with capable individuals
  • Provide oversight to the Supervisor/Instructors in the development of goals, plans, and budgets for attaining Village Health Services' objectives
  • This position requires travel
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday (8am – 5pm)
  • Oversees 6-10 supervisors
  • $1500 monthly housing stipend

Nurse Practitioner Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid license Nurse Practitioner or PA license
  • 2 years of experience directing or supervising employees
  • Nurse Practitioner does not need to be licensed in Alaska

The Location:

  • Rural, remote town northwest of Anchorage.
  • No state income tax and permanent fund dividend after a full calendar year of Alaska Residency
  • Great fishing, hunting, and wildlife including the ability to go see polar bears and sled dogs.
