Nurse Practitioner First Assist

Looking to take your nursing career to the next level? We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team. Excellent work hours, competitive salary and benefits are offered. Our regular hours are: 8AM – 5PM, Monday to Friday. You are supported by a full team of board-certified physicians providing advanced imaging and interventional pain procedures. Take the next step in joining our team by applying now.

Qualification:
  • At least 2 years of surgical experience
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Arizona.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner through a recognized board
  • DEA license and BLS/ACLS certifications required at the time of hire.
  • Experience in interventional pain management techniques.
  • Stellar communication skills, oral and written.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, formulate differential diagnoses, and communicate findings with the supervising surgeon
  • Ensure pre-operative readiness by reviewing imaging and participating in surgical planning
  • Participate in post-op surgical huddles and track and manage post-operative spine patients
  • Monitor patient status continuously throughout the anesthesia and operational event
  • Document and ensure accuracy of patient assessments, in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Assess, maintain, and ensure patient safety throughout their surgical experience
  • Communicate changes in patient condition, concerns, or complications
