Overview

We are hiring a Business Intelligence Analyst II to design, develop, and maintain data analytics and business intelligence solutions that support strategic decision-making across the organization. In this role, you'll partner with data scientists, analysts, operational leaders, and clinical stakeholders to transform complex data into actionable insights. You'll also serve as a mentor to junior analysts while helping drive innovation, scalability, and performance across our analytics environment.
What you'll do
• Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence and analytics solutions that support operational, clinical, and strategic initiatives.
• Build and enhance dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and QlikView to communicate meaningful insights and key performance metrics.
• Implement and optimize data models, data processing workflows, and analytical frameworks with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define data needs, and translate business questions into actionable reporting and analytics solutions.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote analytics best practices, continuous improvement, and innovation across the team.
Who you are
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Nursing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, SQL development, and Epic Clarity Data Model environments.
• Epic certification in the applicable area of responsibility.
• Experience developing dashboards and visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or QlikView is preferred.
• Additional experience in systems analysis, Health Catalyst Subject Area Mart, nursing, or acute care environments is highly valued.
