What is a nurse aide in training?

Nurse Aides In Training are individuals who are enrolled in a state-approved training program to become certified nurse aides (CNAs). They work under the direct supervision of licensed nurses while learning to provide basic care for patients, such as assisting with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility. During their training period, they develop essential skills and knowledge required for certification and future employment. Nurse Aides In Training play a vital role in supporting the healthcare team and ensuring patients’ comfort and safety.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a nurse aide in training?

To thrive as a Nurse Aide In Training, you need a basic understanding of patient care principles, good physical stamina, and typically a high school diploma or equivalent.
