Company Description

The Sales Analyst plays a key role in helping shape the future of our eCommerce business by turning data into actionable insights and opportunities for growth. This position partners across teams to uncover trends, support business planning, and develop tools and recommendations that help drive success across digital sales channels.

In this role, you'll lead analysis and insights for monthly business reviews, retailer performance, and long-term channel planning. The work combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, offering the opportunity to influence both business decisions and day-to-day operations.

Projects span a variety of eCommerce environments, including Pure Play, Brick & Click, Quick Commerce, and Social Commerce channels, providing broad exposure to the evolving digital retail landscape.

Job Description

STRATEGIC ANALYSIS & PLANNING

Lead & support the development of the eCommerce volume plan and forecast

Ensure best in class share and retailer planning processes across eCommerce, specifically plan-to-actual gap analysis for volume and budget

Develop and implement turnkey and scalable tools for measuring KPIs across all eCommerce verticals

Assess data, generates insights and develops clear action plan to support growth

Contribute to the development of long term channel strategy through data analytics, collaboration across all HQ/BU departments and external Retailer network(s) where appropriate from creation to implementation

STANDARD REPORTS AND PROCESSES

Identify business opportunities across all channels and provide qualitative and quantitative analytic recommendations that will drive market improvement

Develop financial decision support tools for budget and business performance optimization

Leverage data (Numerator, IRI, PowerBI, Retailer & Brand data) and work cross functionally to create and implement "Best in Class" tools to track and measure business plan initiatives across each eCommerce vertical

ANALYSIS

Own all content for monthly leadership & commercial review calls, inclusive of current business performance, learnings, and future focus

Create Leadership Team briefings leveraging data & insights

Leads creation of retailer facing executive business updates for our Top Accounts

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Provide leadership and support from development to implementation including: business case proposals, partner with key stakeholders across departments to effectively manage tracking of project milestones (i.e. BP/RE), resource needs as appropriate

Ad hoc project management and analysis including but not limited to Partnerships/Adjacencies, Retail Media, and Activation Calendars

Lead cross retailer projects and cross functional actions needed to bring new accounts and channels online

In partnership with Brand Marketing, lead eCommerce content syndication partnerships and content activation

Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience in an analytical management role in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
  • Highly skilled in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint,
  • Experience with eCommerce, Retail Media, and Syndicated data
  • Experience in Business/Management Consulting is a plus
  • Good Communication skills, highly organized
  • Knowledge of retail landscape (local as well as National accounts)
  • Ability to work across functions including headquarters, field/business units and retailers
  • Ability to work comfortably cross-functionally with key partners, inclusive of IT..."techy by nature" and Trade Finance
  • High-Level understanding of reporting technology and capabilities
  • Proven ability to interpret sales data, analyze results and provide actionable recommendations

The base salary range for this position is $72,000 - 108,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
