Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead engineering and construction projects at a commercial nuclear facility in New Hill, NC. This role is responsible for managing project scope, schedule, budget, vendor contracts, and execution of new construction and plant modification projects within a regulated nuclear environment. The Project Manager will serve as the single point of accountability, coordinating with site stakeholders, engineering teams, and contractors to ensure safe, compliant, and successful project delivery.
This position is hybrid (once proficient) with up to 2 days remote work, and requires support for a 4x10 schedule with occasional overtime and outage-based 24/7 shift support as needed. Travel is minimal (<10%).
Pay: $69.00- $79.00 per hour DOE
Qualifications:
  • Experience managing projects in a commercial nuclear or power generation environment preferred
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager (not only project support roles)
  • Strong understanding of construction and engineering project execution
  • Experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, and vendor contracts
  • Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and site stakeholders
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Willingness to work hybrid schedule and support outage-based shift work if required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access to a nuclear facility
  • Must be able to pass required background and site access requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all aspects of assigned nuclear facility projects
  • Develop project plans, budgets, and funding estimates
  • Manage vendors, contracts, and project execution activities
  • Monitor and report project schedule, cost, and performance status
  • Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and site operations
