These workers require specialized training and must adhere to strict regulatory standards to minimize risks associated with nuclear power generation.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working in nuclear power operations?

Professionals in nuclear power operations often face challenges such as maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols, responding swiftly to unexpected equipment issues, and keeping up with evolving regulations. The role demands continuous learning and collaboration with highly specialized teams, including engineers, technicians, and regulatory personnel. • Serve as a trusted technical and commercial partner to nuclear power plant customers by leading discovery conversations, solution positioning, technical presentations, and proposal development.
  • Leverage deep knowledge of dosimetry operations, badge processing workflows, contractor dose tracking, and audit-defensible reporting to identify customer pain points and articulate Landauer's value.
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, product management, service, and leadership teams to translate voice-of-customer insights into segment growth strategies and solution enhancements.
  • Support customer evaluations, pilots, onboarding, and implementation efforts to ensure successful adoption and long-term retention.
  • Represent Landauer and Fluke Health Solutions at industry meetings, customer site visits, and trade events, building credibility and strengthening relationships within the nuclear power community.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive activity, and regulatory expectations that shape dosimetry purchasing decisions in nuclear power.
Qualifications

  • Intimate knowledge of dosimetry functions in nuclear power, including occupational monitoring, dose-of-record processes, badge workflows, and related operational requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with radiation protection, health physics, operations, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Experience in business development, technical sales, account growth, or customer-facing commercial roles is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of regulated operating environments and the importance of compliance, traceability, and audit readiness.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and operational needs into clear business value.
