What does a nuclear medicine assistant do?

A typical day for a Nuclear Medicine Assistant involves preparing patients for imaging procedures, assisting technologists with equipment setup, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed when handling radioactive materials. You might help document patient information, answer questions about procedures, and maintain cleanliness in exam rooms.
