About the role:

You will report to the site Manager for the project.

You will report onsite to multiple locations based on the assignment.

You will report onsite to the training site will be in Manning, S.C.

You must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform work of equal or lower skill level.
  • Perform field machining using portable: drilling, boring, turning, and grinding operations
  • Set up and use of lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and precision grinding
  • Use precision measuring instruments
  • Read drawings, reference manuals, and assembly instruction guides
  • Observe and follow the appropriate industrial safety and health programs

Qualifications:

  •  
  • As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • two (2) years documented work experience with field machining
  • Experience using portable: drilling, boring, turning, grinding operations as a minimum.
  • CNC operated equipment experience
  • Three (3) years of work experience in a machine shop maybe substituted providing that verification shows the set up and use of lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and grinding
  • We may also substitute five (5) years of verifiable work experience in the trade (Millwright or Pipe fitter).
  • Experience with measuring instruments
  • Read drawings, reference manuals, and assembly instruction guides
  • You will pass training and qualifications to be assigned to the project.
  • You will pass the nuclear background check, drug and alcohol pre-employment fitness for duty.

To be successful you my meet these Physical Requirements:

  • Lift 50-60 lbs.
  • You will work 12-hour schedule on nights or days as assigned.
  • You will work 6-7 days per week on site assignment.
