What you'll do:
As an Optometrist at Family Vision Care, you can expect a fulfilling and dynamic work environment where each day presents new challenges. You will care for a diverse range of patients, from conducting routine eye exams for young children to assisting seniors with age-related vision changes and offering specialized treatments for complex eye conditions. With access to advanced technology, including Topcon AR/AK, FDT, and Optos Monaco Retinal Photography, as well as well-equipped exam lanes featuring automatic phoropters and electronic health records via Eyefinity EHR, you'll confidently perform comprehensive eye tests to provide accurate diagnoses and tailored solutions. Threshold visual fields, OCT and corneal topography with dry eye analysis software allow for advanced disease management. Offering in-office procedures using Bleph-Ex, I-Lux and Nu-Lids instruments complement your anterior segment treatment recommendations. You will work closely with a skilled team to provide every patient with a seamless and compassionate experience. This full-time position involves a 35-hour workweek, during which you will conduct 15 full exams (each allocated a 30-minute time slot). Brief visits may be double-booked at the start of the hour as needed.
