Description:

Nu Image Surgical and Implant Center is seeking a reliable and motivated Clinical Assistant to join our oral surgery team in Cary. This role supports the oral surgeon and clinical staff by assisting with patient care, maintaining a safe and efficient clinical environment, and ensuring a positive patient experience throughout the surgical process.


Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

Wednesday OFF


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the oral surgeon during surgical procedures and patient care appointments
  • Prepare treatment rooms and surgical instruments prior to procedures
  • Ensure all equipment and materials are properly sterilized and organized
  • Take and record patient vitals and assist with patient preparation for procedures
  • Provide post operative instructions to patients as directed by the surgeon
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
  • Follow infection control and sterilization protocols in accordance with practice policies and OSHA standards
  • Support efficient patient flow and assist with room turnover between patients
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
  • Assist with inventory management and supply stocking as needed
  • Travel to other practice locations when necessary to support clinical operations


Qualifications:

  • Previous dental or oral surgery assisting experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to other practice locations when needed
  • CPR certification preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and move clinical supplies and equipment when necessary
  • Manual dexterity to assist during surgical procedures
