Engineering & Mission Integration Lead
The Opportunity :
Act as a strategic business leader, program manager, and client relationship owner, partnering with internal and external senior leaders to drive growth and delivery excellence across Department of the Navy e nga gements. Lead program and project teams throughout the system delivery lifecycle across engineering, science, sof t war e, and energetic systems domains, maintaining responsibility for the leadership and development of experience d teams. Drive all aspects of contract management, finan cia l oversight, and budget control, including regular review of finan cia l performance across existing programs. Bring innovative thinking to technology development and service delivery in areas such as AI, ML, digital engineering, and unmanned systems. Translate complex client challenges into actionable technical solutions across mechanical, electrical, sof t war e, and systems engineering disciplines. Own and expand a pipeline of opportunities for the client and asso cia ted SYSCOMs, including identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new work through proactive e nga gement with government and military clients, teaming partners, and industry stakeholders to position the company competitively on new and recompete opportunities. Provide mentorship and development to a team of technical and program professionals. Model strategic and entrepreneurial thinking while fostering a culture of delivery excellence and client focus and collaborate with company leadership to shape long-term growth trajectory.
You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience in leadership roles supporting military operations or missions or leading technically rigorous and complex Research & Development ( R & D ) or Science & Technology ( S & T ) programs
  • Experience in DoW program management, including oversight of efforts related to research, development, test, evaluation, manufacturing, render safe or disposal, or foreign materiel exploitation of energetic systems
  • Experience leading teams and delivering complex technical work in engineering, sof t war e, or mission environments
  • Experience building and maintaining client and industry relationships across the U.S. Navy
  • Knowledge of DoW contracts, acquisition, and proposal processes
  • Knowledge of Navy War fare Center s and SYSCOMs
  • Knowledge of engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, sof t war e, systems engineering, or physics
  • Ability to e nga ge in technical discussions and translate client challenges into actionable solutions, including areas such as AI, ML, digital engineering, and unmanned systems
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience at or directly supporting Naval Surface War fare Center s, including with established relationships among its technical and program leadership
  • Experience with Other Tra nsa ction Authority ( OTA ) agreements, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity ( IDIQ ) vehicles, or other non-traditional DoD acquisition mechanisms
  • Experience within NAVSEA, Naval Air Systems Command ( NAVAIR ) , or related SYSCOMs
  • Experience with digital engineering tools, model-based systems engineering ( MBSE ) , or emerging DoD digital transformation initiatives
  • Knowledge of energetic materials, munitions, or explosive ordnance disposal ( EOD ) programs, including asso cia ted safety, testing, and regulatory frameworks
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Project Management C ertification such as PMP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
