Job Description:

Looking for someone to provide asset management customer service to the Space & Mission Systems, Airborne Solutions sector in support of the objectives of Government Compliance. Manage the asset management records database, including accurate input of new records and updates to existing records. This person will interface with customers, auditors, senior management, and other internal stakeholders for all asset management matters.

Essential Functions:

  • Ensure tracking and retention of audit artifacts
  • Provide barcode tags and perform equipment tagging
  • Prepare asset management documentation
  • Contributes to the preparation of asset management reports as needed, including data for financial reports, physical inventory reports and results, lost equipment, self-assessment results and additional reports
  • Analyze the asset portfolio to identify areas for potential re-utilization or increased utilization of assets to reduce capital expenditures
  • Participate in internal and external audits including quarterly self-assessments
  • Responsible for providing guidance and training to company personnel on the application of business system processes, interpretation of laws and regulations and compliance requirements
  • Learn and apply Sarbanes-Oxley regulations, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and L3Harris financial policies and applied to asset acquisition and disposition
  • Evaluate overall asset management program effectiveness
  • Identify and correct process deficiencies and propose solutions for continuous improvement
  • Participate in Lean/Six Sigma training
  • Obtain Certified Property Professional Specialist Ability to lift/move 30 lbs.
  • Ability to obtain US Government security clearance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • (CPPS) certification from the National Property Management Association (NPMA)
  • Certified Property Professional Specialist (CPPS) certification from the National Property Management Association (NPMA)
  • Proficiency with PIEE application
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Contracts Management and Finance concepts
  • Experience working with and presenting to senior leadership and auditors
  • Working knowledge of contractual requirements related to Government Property Management including FAR Part 45, FAR 52.245-1, DFARS property management clauses, DCMA Guidebook and other industry standards
  • Data analysis skill including familiarity with Microsoft Excel formulas, charts and pivot tables
  • Familiarity with Sunflower asset tracking system
