Job Responsibilities:

  • Migration of 2012 Windows OS and databases to a more current supported version
  • Working closely with the client

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Good DevOps Architectural mindset and can articulate solutions with best practices embedded.
  • Strong understanding of shift-left security practices when it comes to 3rd party dependency management.
  • Solid understanding of how to manage 3rd party vulnerabilities and the various points in the SDLC where we can identify and remediate early in the development cycle.
  • Experience with build frameworks like maven, gradle, npm.
  • Deep understanding of repository management tools like Nexus Repository
  • Strong Knowledge of Azure concepts like Infrastructure as a Code (IaaS) and Platform as a Code (PaaS). Services like Virtual Network, Virtual Machines, APIM, App service, Storage Account, AKS Cluster, and monitoring of available, scalable secure environment.
  • Strong Knowledge of concepts like CI/CD, Git, DevOps, and Shell Scripting (Preference for Python, bash)
  • Strong Knowledge Tools like Azure DevOps, Docker, Containers and Kubernetes and Helm Charts and Orchestration.
  • Strong Knowledge of automation tools Ansible, Terraform
  • Strong Knowledge on Azure Cloud Deployments and Automation Architecture development and maintenance.
  • Strong Knowledge on Pipeline creation from scratch and troubleshooting cloud configurations issues.
  • Strong Knowledge with distributed systems, Service-Oriented Architectures.
  • Strong Knowledge with coding principles such as refactoring, unit testing, and writing clear and modular code.
  • Strong Background in Linux and Windows Administration
