Job description

Role: Electrical & Instrumentation Designers (E&I Designer)

Location: Houston TX 77007 (Hybrid)

Duration: 6+ Months

Primary Skills:

Would prefer AutoCAD or Revit, but really easy to transfer knowledge across software nowadays. Specific skills:

Creating Single Line Diagrams, 

E&I plan drawings, 

Designing cable tray routing, including performing cable tray fill calculations, 

Creating junction box layouts

Creating panel schedule

Developing schematics and ladder logic diagrams

Creating loop sheets

Project Summary:

The E&I Designer will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed electrical and instrumentation design drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software and databases. They will work closely with the engineering team to ensure that all designs meet project requirements and company objectives.

Your daily tasks will include collaborating with cross-functional teams from FEED through detailed design. Additionally, you will help with the development of new design standards and creative workflows for a cutting-edge startup.

Required Skills:

Qualifications - 5+ years

Experience with Instrumentation and Electrical Design

Skilled in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

A strong desire to break the status quo of EPC workflows by developing new & creative multidisciplinary engineering & design methods that produce faster & more accurate results.
