Middle School English Teacher (Leave Replacement September โ€“ November)

Greenwich Academy seeks an outstanding English teacher to teach two sections of Eighth Grade English in the fall of 2026. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and accessible teacher, dedicated to helping students of all levels challenge themselves to think critically and creatively. A commitment to teaching Middle School students is essential. Greenwich Academy values deeply the teaching of writing, and candidates must be eager and able to help students develop the essential skills of expository essay writing and revision. Above all, the teacher should be an avid reader and lover of literature and should have demonstrated success at sharing that love with Middle School students.

Successful candidates will be flexible, open-minded and eager to join a collaborative department. They will be excited to work in a rigorous academic environment and to immerse themselves in the school community.
