Position Overview
- We are seeking 2 dedicated Editorial Specialists for our English web novel business:
- 1 specialist for the Romance genre (female-focused)
- 1 specialist for the Fantasy genre (male-focused)
- The core focus of this role is to discover original works with commercial potential, nurture contracted authors, and optimize platform content supply based on regional market trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and analyze a large volume of English web novels in the assigned core genre (Romance or Fantasy).
- Identify and evaluate works with high commercialization potential for platform cooperation.
- Establish and maintain long-term, trusting cooperative relationships with contracted authors.
- Provide tailored content feedback, creative guidance, and optimization suggestions to help authors refine their works and boost reader popularity.
- Conduct in-depth research on the global English web novel market, tracking industry trends and changes in reader preferences.
- Deliver actionable insights to support the optimization of the platform's content supply strategy.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in editorial, content evaluation, or author management within the digital content or online reading industry.
- Genuine passion and deep enthusiasm for web novels/light novels, with extensive reading experience in the assigned core genre (Romance or Fantasy is a must).
