RESIDENTIAL/COMMERCIAL ELECTRICIANS NOT CONSIDERED

Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced industrial electricians with the ability to build industrial electrical panels from prints or perform final machine wiring with precision. Candidates with five or more years of industrial experience are strongly preferred. The ability to work effectively from blueprints, schematics, or detailed instructions is essential for success in this role. RESIDENTIAL/COMMERCIAL ELECTRICIANS NOT CONSIDERED! MUST HAVE HIGH VOLTAGE AS WELL AS EXPERIENCED WITH WIRING CONTROL TECHNOLOGY IN INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical installations of motors, control panels, PLC systems, and wiring into industrial machinery.
  • Work with high-voltage equipment, including motors, blowers, heaters, and 3-phase components, ensuring safe handling and operation.
  • Ensure all electrical systems and equipment comply with company standards, local codes, and best practices for machine wiring.
  • Collaborate with other production team members and departments to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of electrical supplies, tools, and equipment; order replacements as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in safety training and initiatives.

Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an industrial electrician in a comparable environment is preferred.
Skills:

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
  • Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial automation systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and best practices for machine wiring.
  • Experience working with high-voltage (motors, blowers, heaters) and 3-phase components.
  • Familiarity with complex control systems, including PLCs, control boards, and instrumentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards and electrical safety practices.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Prolonged periods of standing or walking throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work safely around high-voltage equipment and in environments where heavy machinery is operating.
