Look Trailers - El Mirage, Arizona

Look Trailers is seeking a motivated and dependable Options Department Technician to join our team in El Mirage, Arizona. This is a direct hire, full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

The ideal candidate will have experience in trailer manufactaring, electrical installation, carpentry, or general handyman work and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, install, cut, and modify a variety of trailer options and components.
  • Install flooring, metal walls, cabinets, custom bathrooms, generators, and other trailer accessories.
  • Perform 110V and 12V electrical installations and troubleshooting.
  • Read and accurately use tape measures and other measuring equipment.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment safely.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively with team members.
  • Maintain quality standards while working in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and company growth initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience using tape measures and precision measuring tools.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with 110V and 12V electrical installations.
  • Experience installing generators.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience installing flooring, metal walls, cabinets, and custom bathroom components.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating hand tools, measuring equipment, and machinery.
  • General construction, trailer manufacturing, or handyman experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 85 pounds or more with assistance when necessary.
  • Ability to maneuver safely around equipment and obstacles in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work indoors and occasionally outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Demands & Safety Requirements
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move materials weighing up to 85 pounds or more, with assistance when necessary.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at varying heights when installing trailer components and options.
  • Must be able to safely operate hand tools, power tools, machinery, and other manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret measurements, work orders, and production specifications accurately.
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, steel-toe footwear, and other safety equipment as required.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may include exposure to dust, noise, vibrations, moving machinery, and fluctuating temperatures.
  • Must follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and work scheduled shifts reliably.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area at all times.
