Location: NovaCare Laurel, Maryland
Position: Per Diem Physical Therapist- Outpatient Orthopedics
Center Hours: Monday - Thursday 7 AM - 7 PM and Fridays 7 AM- 330 PM
Schedule: Per Diem / As Needed Weekdays
Compensation: starting at $55/hr.
NovaCare in Laurel, Maryland, is looking for local PRN Physical Therapists to support our outpatient orthopedic teams. This opportunity is a great fit for an experienced outpatient PT who wants flexibility and strong work–life balance. We'll align our PG County coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that truly works for you.
You'll work with a diverse orthopedic population and have access to a variety of specialty areas across our outpatient network. Each location includes experienced, supportive clinicians who are eager to collaborate and help you continue growing your skill set while making a meaningful impact in our shared communities.
NovaCare's 50+ standalone OP centers all use the same EMR, with consistent volume expectations and patient-centered, ethical practice.
You'll treat a diverse patient population across conditions such as:
- General Orthopedics
- Sports Injuries
- Neurological Rehabilitation
- Vestibular & Concussion Care
- Prosthetics & Orthotics
- Amputee Rehabilitation
- Oncology (ReVital) & Lymphedema
- Pediatrics
- Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs)
- Post-Offer Employment Testing (POETs)
- ACL Rehabilitation
- Fall Prevention Programs

Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional rehabilitation: evaluate, treat, direct, and document
- Stay compliant with state, local, and federal regulations
- Communicate openly with colleagues, patients, families, and physicians
- Participate in team meetings
Qualifications
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- Current State physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
- CPR certification
