Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand the mental health dynamics of clients, forming tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions utilizing a range of evidence-based techniques to enhance clients' emotional well-being and promote positive changes.
• Collaboratively establish therapeutic goals with clients and consistently monitor their progress, adapting treatment strategies as necessary.
• Provide teletherapy services, ensuring access to mental health support for clients who may have mobility issues or prefer remote options.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, progress, and treatment plans to uphold the highest ethical standards in practice.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to refine clinical skills and stay ahead of emerging trends in the field of marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at NovaCare, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families grappling with challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role will focus on building a strong therapeutic alliance, where clients feel safe and understood, enabling them to initiate their healing journey.

Qualifications

• An active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is essential for this role.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are critical for fostering strong, trusting relationships with clients.
• A demonstrated ability to approach therapy with empathy, understanding, and a non-judgmental attitude.
• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities are necessary for effective case management and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of relevant experience in providing therapy services within a clinical setting is preferred.
• Experience with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling practices would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

• The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, based on your experience and credentials.
