About Notre Dame Athletics

Position Summary

Join our Sports Nutrition team to support the fueling and performance of Notre Dame student-athletes. Under the guidance of five full-time Registered Dietitians, this role will contribute to daily fueling operations and gain hands-on experience in sports nutrition and performance support. 

Football or Olympic Sports (non-football) - Candidate preference will be taken into consideration, however availability and demand will be final determinants in placement.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare and serve performance-enhancing snacks and smoothies 
  • Staff and maintain fueling stations across facilities 
  • Stock, rotate (FIFO), and manage inventory of nutrition products 
  • Assist with set-up and support at practices and events 
  • Clean and organize fueling areas and storage rooms
  • Support dietitians with additional tasks as assigned 
  • Participate in mentorship and learning opportunities offered through the department
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Strong attention to detail and organization 
  • Valid driver's license 
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly 
  • Comfortable working early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays 
  • Reliable, professional, and team-oriented 
  • Strong interest in sports nutrition, health, athletics and/or performance Preferred: 
  • Previous food service experience 
  • Prior involvement in sports nutrition or athletics support 
Additional Information

Hourly rate: $15.00/hour
