About the Opportunity
A busy Massachusetts real estate law firm is seeking experienced Real Estate Attorneys to handle residential real estate purchase and refinance closings throughout the Commonwealth.
This is a flexible independent contractor opportunity that is well suited for an attorney looking to take on additional real estate closing matters. Attorneys who meet the qualifications below may have the flexibility to take on a smaller number of closings while earning competitive compensation based on the matters handled.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct residential real estate purchase and refinance closings.
  • Review closing documents and ensure all required documents are properly executed.
  • Provide professional and responsive service to clients throughout the closing process.
  • Conduct closings at locations throughout Massachusetts as needed.
  • Manage closings during regular business hours, evenings, and occasional weekends.
  • Be available to accept closing assignments with short notice.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service, including the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Print and manage closing packages remotely as required.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of Massachusetts residential real estate closing experience, including purchase and refinance transactions.
  • Current Massachusetts Bar membership.
