Job description

As a Title Clerk, you are responsible for processing the transfer of ownership on vehicle purchases through private party and/or dealer sales.
You will work in close collaboration with multiple departments concerning inquiries into necessary documents and procedures.
You will be responsible for processing and recording accurate information into a state database.
You will be responsible for mailing paperwork to customers, ordering shipping supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
You will be responsible for maintaining internal processes for incoming and outgoing documents from various sources.
You will be responsible for maintaining a record of and follow-up with customers or other parties who have not provided required information.
You will be required to perform other reasonably related duties as assigned.

Required Experience to apply for this position:

  • Title Admin Experience
  • At least one year experience dealing with the public in person or by phone, providing information about services/programs or explaining/applying laws, rules, regulations and/or procedures
  • Experience or training using computers to input and retrieve data
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems
  • Previous office and cash handling experience preferred

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Internet Explorer, Adobe Acrobat, and proper email etiquette
  • Must be a WA notary, or able to be licensed and bonded as a WA notary
  • Must be able to communicate in a calm professional manner with grace under pressure
  • Must be proactive, analytical, organized, detail oriented, highly motivated, and a team player
  • Able to receive and quickly implement ongoing feedback and coaching
