Advancing Community Wellness: Dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist

Northwest Community Health Center (NWCHC) is seeking a compassionate and team-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our multidisciplinary dental department. In this role, you will be responsible for the direct provision of oral hygiene treatments, patient education, and essential preventative services. This position is ideal for a clinician who is mindful of the social and economic factors impacting public health and is committed to delivering high-quality care to a diverse, underserved population.
NWCHC is a cornerstone of healthcare in Lincoln County, located in the heart of western Montana. We are a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the mission of providing top-tier medical and dental services to our community. Our center is situated in Libby, Montana—a region famous for its stunning mountain vistas, the Cabinet Mountains Wilderness, and abundant outdoor recreation. We foster a collaborative environment where professional excellence meets the exceptional quality of life found in the "Last Best Places."

Preventative Care: Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing.
Patient Screening: Conduct thorough oral health assessments, review medical histories, and perform periodontal charting.
Education: Provide comprehensive dental care education to patients, focusing on preventative strategies and long-term oral health.
Clinical Collaboration: Work alongside a team of dental professionals to coordinate care and stabilize the oral health of patients.
Radiography: Capture and process diagnostic digital radiographs as required.
Community Health: Adapt clinical approaches to meet the specific needs of an underserved population, maintaining a high standard of empathy and professionalism.

Salary Range

Part-time $34 - $44 per hour

Requirements

Licensure: Current and valid license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in the State of Montana.
Experience: Mid-level clinical experience preferred; however, all qualified licensed candidates will be considered.
Core Skills: Proficiency in direct patient care, preventative health services, and patient education.
Professionalism: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
