Job description

The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is growing and actively seeking board certified/eligible Neuroradiologists to join our team across our diverse network of facilities, IN-PERSON and HYBRID including:

* Cohen Children's Medical Center (Pediatric Neuroradiologist)

* Mather Hospital (support resident education)

* North Shore University Hospital & LIJ Medical Center (support resident education)

* Northern Westchester Hospital

* Staten Island University Hospital

As well as the following neuroradiology sub-specialties:

* Head and Neck Imaging

* Pediatric Neuroimaging

* Dementia/Brain PET Neuroimaging

Northwell Health Radiology offers comprehensive screening, diagnostic and interventional services in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. With close to 250 radiologists performing more than 2 million medical scans each year, Northwell Health Radiology offers the convenience of easy access and unmatched precision. Our radiologists bring years of experience and subspecialized training to each scan they interpret and are backed by all the resources and clinical expertise of New York state's largest health system.

The Opportunity: In addition to routine neuroimaging exams, we have extensive opportunities to perform advanced imaging exams and procedures including:

  • Advanced MRI and CT imaging of the brain, spine, head, and neck.

  • Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI) and functional MRI (fMRI).

  • Perfusion imaging (CTP, MRP).

  • MR spectroscopy.

  • LP's, myelograms and intrathecal chemotherapy.

  • Post-processing and 3D reconstruction.

Qualifications:

* M.D. or D.O. degree.

* Board Certified or Board Eligible (BE/BC) in Diagnostic Radiology

* Completion of Neuroradiology Fellowship.

* Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York
