Job description

The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is growing and actively seeking board certified/eligible Interventional Radiologists to join our team across our diverse network of facilities, including the following prominent locations:

  • Lenox Hill Hospital (Manhattan)- Chief of Service
  • Staten Island University Hospital

The Opportunity: As an Interventional Radiologist at Northwell Health, you will work with state-of-the-art equipment to perform a broad and comprehensive range of procedures, including:

  • Arterial and Venous Interventions: Angiography, Uterine fibroid embolization, Prostate Artery embolization, AV access creation and maintenance, venous interventions, and vascular access.
  • Oncologic & Ablative Therapies: Thermal ablation, radioembolization, chemoembolization.
  • Complex Vascular & Visceral Procedures: TIPS, GU interventions, GI interventions, and biliary procedures.
  • Spinal & Biopsy Interventions: Vertebroplasty, Kyphoplasty and image-guided biopsies.

Qualifications:

  • M.D. or D.O. degree.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (BE/BC) in Interventional Radiology / Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Completion of an IR/DR residency or an Interventional Radiology fellowship.
  • Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York and Connecticut.
