LPN Infection Control Nurse Qualifications:

  • Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program
  • Must have an active LPN license in the state of Virginia
  • Experience in infection control and long-term care preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals
  • Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing in a long-term care facility
  • Ability to make independent decisions
