Salary Range $22.43 to $34.22
Summary:
Remote position responsible for proposing medications, managing incoming messages and phone calls, triaging patient needs, and supporting continuity of care team.
Responsibilities:
  • Answers patients' calls and determines how to assist them.
  • Proposing medications to physician.
  • Triaging patient needs, though messages and phone calls.
  • Managing an assigned clinical desktop.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.
  • Maintains a safe environment complying with Northern Light Health policies and procedures; reports and directly addresses environmental hazards and violations of patient safety policy and/or protocol when involved or observed.
  • Performs tasks of a clinical nature within scope of assigned duties and clinical expertise.
  • Adheres to governmental and industry specific regulations/laws. Maintains current knowledge of organization's policies and procedures.
  • Records, maintains, distributes, and prepares documents or information.
  • Manages / maintains electronic health records in accordance with confidentiality standards and policies.
  • Works to meet patient's psychological, emotional, or physical needs.
  • Works to ensure a safe environment for staff and patients.
  • Work with members of the team or department in an effective and efficient manner. Shares knowledge and serves as a resource in a team environment.

Other Information:
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Maine.
  • BLS certification to be obtained prior to independently caring for patients and kept current.
  • Graduate from an accredited LPN program or state-determined eligibility.
