Northern Cochise Community Hospital (NCCH) is a Critical Access Hospital is looking to fill a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position.
Schedule will be Full Time On-site at 40 hours per week Monday-Friday

Summary: Functions as the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in a team and mission-based setting to provide assistant to the Physical Therapist with related activities and direct patient care for in-patients and out-patients of a (small) Critical Access Hospital (CAH) at Northern Cochise Community Hospital (NCCH).
PTA provides services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. PTA must project a professional appearance and be well organized with strong critical thinking skills. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
This position requires a commitment to teamwork, collaboration and department scheduling needs i.e. good attendance, attitude, customer services, communication skills, timely deadlines, etc.,
Supervision Required: Works under the direct supervision of the Rehabilitation Services Manager/Physical Therapist (RSM/PT) or designated administrator.
Special Conditions: Position is subject to Safety Sensitive Standards / Drug Free Workplace / Vaccination Requirements.
Education and/or Experience:
Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistants Program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Current unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license from the Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners, required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate (American Heart Association), required รขโ‚ฌ" must maintain current certification and recertify prior to expiration date.
