Job description

Make a mark in education as an instructional facilitator, supporting students and collaborating with extraordinary school professionals. This contract opportunity, located near vibrant northern New Mexico, is designed for dynamic paraprofessionals eager to make a positive difference each school day.

You’ll enjoy a consistent 32-hour workweek, with shifts spanning Monday through Thursday, offering time outside of the traditional five-day schedule for balance and rejuvenation. As an instructional facilitator, you’ll play a key role in the classroom—providing guidance and encouragement for students, while working alongside a dedicated team of virtual (VOCO) Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), Physical Therapists (PTs), and Occupational Therapists (OTs). This is your chance to help bridge in-person classroom support with valuable teletherapy interventions, making holistic student progress possible.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Background as a school paraprofessional or instructional aide
  • Demonstrated ability to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Comfortable with technology and facilitating remote therapy sessions alongside onsite classroom instruction
  • Adaptable communication and organizational abilities
  • Team-oriented mindset, eager to collaborate with a variety of educators and therapists

Your Role Will Include:

  • Providing direct instructional support under the supervision of classroom teachers and related service providers
  • Assisting VOCO SLPs, PTs, and OTs during classroom instruction, ensuring students remain engaged and supported
  • Helping implement classroom accommodations and modifications as needed
  • Monitoring student participation and behavior, offering encouragement and positive reinforcement
  • Collaborating in regular team meetings to review progress and share insights

If you’re passionate about giving every student the tools for success and enjoy working in a supportive, collaborative school setting, we want to hear from you! Apply today and help deliver outstanding educational experiences—and outcomes—for students in northern New Mexico.
