Construction Foreman / Post-Frame Crew Leader

Winamac / Rochester / Logansport, IN & Surrounding Areas

Pay: $85,000 - $100,000 per year

FBi Buildings is hiring an experienced Construction Foreman / Post-Frame Crew Leader to lead construction projects throughout Winamac, Rochester, Logansport, Pulaski County, Fulton County, Cass County, and surrounding North-Central Indiana communities.

We're looking for a hands-on construction leader who knows carpentry, understands how buildings go together, and can effectively lead, train, and communicate with a diverse construction crew.

If you're currently working as a Post-Frame Foreman, Pole Barn Foreman, Carpentry Foreman, Framing Foreman, Crew Leader, Lead Carpenter, or Working Superintendent, we want to talk with you.

Experience with post-frame buildings, pole barns, agricultural construction, residential or commercial framing, or structural wood construction will immediately get our attention.

Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills will also stand out. The ability to effectively communicate instructions, provide training, develop crew members, and build strong working relationships across both English- and Spanish-speaking team members is a significant asset in this role.

Who We're Looking For

Strong carpentry, framing, and construction leadership experience is essential. Just as importantly, we're looking for someone who knows how to lead people, communicate expectations clearly, develop employees, and bring a crew together.

Bilingual English/Spanish Skills Are Highly Desired

Bilingual ability can be especially valuable when:

  • Training and developing crew members

  • Explaining construction processes and daily expectations

  • Communicating jobsite safety requirements

  • Troubleshooting issues as a team

  • Building trust and strong working relationships across the crew

You do not need to be perfectly fluent to be considered. If you are comfortable communicating with both English- and Spanish-speaking employees in a construction environment, we strongly encourage you to apply.

Our ideal Foreman has experience in one or more of the following:

  • Post-frame / pole barn construction

  • Agricultural and farm buildings

  • Barndominiums

  • Structural wood framing

  • Commercial wood-frame construction

  • Residential framing

  • Metal roofing and siding

  • Building additions

  • Exterior construction

  • Structural carpentry

  • Crew leadership

Qualified candidates should have:

  • Strong hands-on carpentry and framing skills

  • Experience leading construction crews in the field

  • Strong communication and people-leadership skills

  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills strongly preferred

  • Ability to train and develop employees with varying levels of construction experience

  • Ability to understand how a building comes together from start to finish

  • Ability to read blueprints, plans, and construction drawings

  • Understanding of construction sequencing and production

  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems in the field

  • Commitment to quality craftsmanship and jobsite safety

  • Valid driver's license

  • Ability to travel to regional jobsites throughout North-Central Indiana and surrounding areas
