Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in high-quality work, and brings great energy to the team every day.

This role is perfect for someone who is confident chairside, proactive, organized, and truly enjoys patient care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Dental Assistant at Normandy Lake Dentistry, you will:

  • Assist chairside across a wide variety of dental procedures

  • Maintain efficient patient flow and support smooth clinical operations

  • Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and materials are ready

  • Take digital X-rays and assist with scanning as needed

  • Provide excellent patient support by explaining procedures and calming nerves

  • Ensure proper infection control and sterilization standards are followed

  • Participate in the morning huddle and collaborate with the team daily

  • Support charting and assist with documentation as needed

  • Help create an exceptional experience for every patient, every visit

  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to the team culture

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a Dental Assisting degree

  • Hold a current X-Ray Certification

  • Have at least 2 years of dental assisting experience

  • Be confident working in a digital dental office (digital X-rays, scanners, charting systems)

  • Be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and teammates

  • Show strong initiative and take pride in doing things the right way

  • Be dependable, punctual, and team-driven

  • Bring energy, positivity, and professionalism into every day
