We are excited about your interest in our district! District 87 is home to one high school, one junior high, six elementary schools, and one early childhood school. We also have the Bloomington Career Academy which provides career exploration opportunities to high school students at Bloomington High School and surrounding school districts.
Please review the attached job description and union agreement in the bottom right-hand corner. This position will be split between Bent and Sheridan Elementary Schools.
  • The minimum starting compensation range for a full-time position will be $20.45/hour. Prior applicable full-time paraprofessional, teaching daycare and/or healthcare experience may be eligible for additional compensation up to $22.24/hour in accordance with the Appendix of the Board-BESP Paraprofessionals agreement.
  • Employment beginning after the normal employment start date will be prorated based on the number of days worked.
