Residential Account Specialist - Low Income Programs

Location: Lake Charles, Baton Rouge or Monroe, LA (Field-Based with Local Travel Required)

As an Account Specialist, you will support residential utility programs, working closely withthe client and ICF's implementation team, to bring energy efficiency and bill savings totheircustomersin Louisiana.

AnAccount Specialistwill gain exposure tovarious typesof energy efficiency projects and typicallyprovidesaccount management,trade ally/service providermanagement,andothertechnical services forautilityenergy efficiency programand their stakeholders.In this role, you wouldberesponsible forparticipation requirements,innovativereporting,and analysis, conducting market research, andfacilitatingcommunications and coordination acrossaResidentialTrade Ally/Service Provider(TA)networkthroughoutLouisiana.

What you will be doing:

  • Reviewing and approving projectssubmittedby participating trade allies.
  • Perform desktopand fieldQA/QCtovalidatetechnical project data for weekly processing, ensuring compliance with requirements and process controls
  • Coach and train Trade Allies and internal support team members on best practices, audit resolutions, and technical subject matter
  • Support the reporting team toassemble and provide reports,presentationsand database managementusing many MSOffice programs along withindustry-specificsoftware tools.
  • Build andmaintainin-personrelationships withLouisianaTrade Allies,local/state efficiency non-profit programs,sub-contractors,and industry associations.
  • There willalsobe opportunities to attend trade shows,conferences,and othereventsto promoteand representthe program offerings
  • Stay informed on local,stateand federal energy efficiency programs and evaluate how these programs canbenefitcurrent offerings.
  • Stay informed on industry news, updates, and trends.
  • Travel Requirements: Must have reliable vehicle for local travel of 20-30%% of the time in the region(reimbursement for mileage provided)

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):

  • Bachelor's Degree (candidates can substitute one year of experience for each year of education)
  • 2+ years of professional work experience; preferably in utilities, energy efficiency, construction or trades
  • Must have valid driver's licenseand successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check

What we would like you to have (preferred):

  • Experience and knowledge of residential energy efficiency
  • Experience working with non-profits a plus
  • Experience working in or managing atrade ally/service providernetwork
  • Certified Energy Manageror BPI credentialsa plus
  • Bilingualin Spanish and Englisha plus

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
