Consumer Loan Processor II

The pay range for this position is listed below. Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity.

Pay Range:

What You'll Be Doing
Funds Consumer Loans (Auto Loans, Personal Loans, Credit Cards, and Educational loans) and provides world class Member Service to our Members. Possesses basic knowledge of all Consumer Loan products and supports frontline teammembers with loan funding support.
  • Communicates to Members by phone and email to collect necessary documentation to in order to clear stipulations. Verifies that information and documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Creates loan documents for Members to sign within the core loan operating system. Utilizes Docusign and schedules time with Members to sign documents.
  • Disburses loan proceeds to Members, and handles all direct payments for loan payoff requests. Prepares FedEx packages for direct payments and ensures all necessary documentation is included for proper payoff, and that the CU will receive title for auto loans.
  • Communicates with franchised/non-franchised Dealerships and lending institutions for support with missing or incomplete files, dealer draft policy and other applicable questions.
  • Assists frontline teammembers with assistance to loan funding questions and funding procedures
  • Performs consumer loan applications and analyzes credit data for pertinent Member financial history.
  • Provides consultative services to Members regarding credit union loan products and services by assessing the Member's needs, addressing their concerns and gaining agreement as well as referring Members for loan requests.
  • Maintains a working knowledge and understanding of the Consumer Lending Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.

Additional Job Functions
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary and other employment related actions.

  • 1-3 years of prior related experience required
