RN (non-union) - Clinic Float Department

Mary Rutan Hospital - Bellefontaine, OH

Overview

Position Type Part-Time/Full-Time Job Shift Day (1st Shift)

Description

Job Summary - To assist the providers in the day-to-day activities of the clinic in accordance with current Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the clinic. To ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Performs other duties as assigned and trained; including but not limited to phlebotomy, vitals, registration, IV Administration and pump monitoring.

Regulatory Requirements

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Current State of Ohio RN Licensure.
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • PALS or PEARS certification, through the American Heart Association, within one year of hire.

Language Skills

  • Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Additional languages preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Skills

  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Prior knowledge of EHR system is preferred.
