Technical Recruiter (Onsite โ€“ Herndon, VA)

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to own the full recruitment lifecycle for IT and technical positions across federal and commercial projects. In this onsite role, you'll partner closely with hiring managers to define requirements, source and screen top talent, coordinate interviews, and guide candidates from first contact through offer and onboardingโ€”while maintaining accurate recruiting records and contributing to continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • ยท       The Technical Recruiter will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for IT and technical positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and guiding candidates through the hiring process.

    ยท         Daily responsibilities include partnering with hiring managers to define role requirements, creating and posting job ads, leveraging multiple channels and tools to identify talent, and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline for federal and commercial projects.

    ยท         The role also involves coordinating interviews, collecting and sharing feedback, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and supporting offer negotiation and onboarding.

    ยท         The Technical Recruiter will maintain accurate recruitment records, track key metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting processes and employer branding.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of strong, full-life-cycle recruiting experience, including owning requisitions from intake to offer.

  • Focused technical recruiting experience, with a track record of hiring for IT, cybersecurity, data, and application development roles.

  • Proven ability to source candidates through multiple channels (job boards, LinkedIn/Sales Navigator, social, referrals, talent communities).

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; comfortable collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HR tools, and standard recruitment metrics.careers.

  • Ability to work onsite in Herndon, manage priorities independently, and collaborate effectively in a hybrid/distributed team environment.
