Under limited direction, the Medical Education Program Manager will oversee Signature Events for Undergraduate Medical Education including events that recognize and support, medical students, faculty, prospective medical students, and donors. Responsibilities include managing the end-to-end planning, preparation, execution and wrap up of major and minor events, such as medical school orientation and Match Day.
This individual is responsible for ensuring smooth flow of planning, preparation and execution of activities related to events, including liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, this individual will oversee the Tufts University School of Medicine Maine Track Admissions process for medical students. Responsibilities include supporting the faculty Co-Chairs with all management and administrative tasks related to Admissions as well as live support on interview days.
This individual is also a resource for prospective students and health advisors and will collaborate with leaders to determine the strategic future of admissions. The tasks and responsibilities related to this position require key attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and confidence collaborating with the Department of Medical Education and executive leadership.
Summary:
The Medical Education Program Manager role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of assigned program(s), ensuring smooth flow of planning, preparation, and execution of activities related to maintaining assigned program(s).
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Three years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in an educational or healthcare setting or comparable relevant work experience in an administrative role, preferably in an educational or healthcare setting required. Experience with reporting and complex management of detailed information and data preferred. Budget experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $61,256.00 to $82,867.20 per year.
